Victorian Combined Cancer Centre 2010- 2016

Rush Wright Associates has been working with Plenary Health, the State Government of Victoria, ¬†and the Grocon-PCL joint venture on Melbourne’s new $1 Billion Cancer Centre¬†since the commercial PPP bid stage in mid 2010. The facility aims to bring together cancer treatment, clinical research and teaching in one place for the first time in Australia. Our role includes roof gardens and patient respite spaces on many levels of the building, including an extensive roof garden on Level 07. Our team is also working on stitching the very large building and its access requirements into heritage listed Royal Parade and its globally significant Elm Trees. Other work includes streetscapes on Flemington Road and Grattan Street.

Coming soon: more information on the roof gardens and our work in 3D visualisation for VCCC.
