The $5.3 Billion Regional Rail Link project aims to separate Victoria’s passenger and freight networks, and to improve the speed and quality of service of both.

This ambition required the addition of a major new rail link from the west, new stations and the multiple duplications of track work through Melbourne’s west and inner west.

RWA worked with KBR-ARUP and Cox Architects on all stages of the Regional Rail Link reference designs and played a major role in preparing an Urban Design Strategy for the project and reference designs for new Stations. Our role extended to project bid tender reviews and ongoing technical advice to Government.
