Melbourne Olympic Park early works officially opened by the Minister for Sport and Recreation Hugh Delahunty.

“The Melbourne Park redevelopment project is transforming Victoria’s world class sporting and entertainment precinct. The works completed to date include a new precinct-wide storm water recycling system, major landscaping works and the creation of a new events area to improve patron amenity and sustainability of the Park,” the Minister for Sport and Recreation Hugh Delahunty said on site during a tour with the Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability and Urban Water, Senator Don Farrell. Mr Delahunty said the water system and extensive landscaping works were the first elements of the Melbourne Park redevelopment to be completed.”
